Here's the general flow:

  • Step 1: Registration (Begins April 15th)

  • Step 2: Self-Learning & Initial Certifications (Flexible pace, but with tiered deadlines for live session access)

    • Complete by end of May to access mid of June webinars.

    • Complete by end of July to access mid of August webinars.

  • Step 3: Webinar Course (總整課程) - Live Sessions (Specific Dates in Mid-June or Mid-August)

  • Step 4: Final Certification Exam (One week window after webinar, retake anytime, 80% pass score)

  • Step 5: Certificate Issuance (Download via LINE by September 30th)

Step 2-1: Self-Learning - Google Digital Certifications (Skillshop)

This is the prerequisite self-study phase, where you must complete specific Google Skillshop certifications online. These are crucial for building your foundational expertise:


  • Google Ads Search Certification

  • Google Ads Video Certification

  • Google Ads Creative Certification

  • AI-Powered Performance Ads Certification

  • Google Analytics Certification

Once you've obtained all the required online self-study certifications (Steps 2-1 and 2-2) and submitted them via the official LINE account for review, you gain access to the live, real-time webinar courses. These are a critical part of the Grow on Air Course Structure and cannot be missed!


  • Tiered Access:
    • If you complete the self-learning courses by the end of May, you can join the webinar in mid-June.

    • If you complete the self-learning courses by the end of July, you can join the webinar in mid-August.


  • Webinar Content & Dates:
    • Digital Marketing & Google Analytics 4: This session goes beyond the basics, explaining the core role of AI in digital marketing. It covers how AI empowers media, collaborates with advertising creativity, and helps optimize ad effectiveness for high-impact measurement. (Example Dates: June 12 or August 16)

    • AI Marketing Application - Gemini: Led by a Google expert instructor, this course focuses on practical application of AI tools in marketing scenarios, including writing high-quality prompts and hands-on marketing exercises. It's designed to cultivate new, market-trend-aligned skills. (Example Dates: June 14 or August 15)


Step 4: Final Test

After completing the live webinar courses, the final hurdle is to complete the final test.


Exam Structure: 

The final test is comprised of questions from two main areas:

  • Digital Marketing & Google Analytics Portion: This covers 3 parts, including 32 multiple-choice questions on broader digital marketing concepts, 5 short quiz questions focused on Google Ads strategy, and 10 multiple-choice questions specifically on Google Analytics.

  • AI Course Portion: This consists of 20 multiple-choice questions, plus 1 short quiz requiring you to apply your knowledge by using Gemini for a Digital Marketing Proposal.


Exam Window: 

You have one week to complete the final test after attending the webinar.


Retake Policy: 

You can retake the exam anytime if you don't pass on your first attempt.


Passing Score: 

You need to achieve 80% or higher to proceed to the final step and download your certificate.


Step 5: Certificate Issuance

Your Google Digital Marketing Certification (completion certificate) will then be available for download via the official LINE account by September 30th.


Course 2: Google Cloud Program


This track is for those interested in cloud computing, infrastructure, and advanced generative AI development on the Google Cloud.

Step 1: Programme Registration & Access

Registration also begins around April 15th, with confirmation emails sent within 3-5 business days. Joining the official LINE account is also crucial here for updates.

Important Note: Some courses in this programme require credits. After registration, the programme team will assist in activating your course learning permissions via email, so you do not need to purchase credits yourself.

    • If you complete the self-learning courses by the end of May, you can join the webinar in mid-June.

    • If you complete the self-learning courses by the end of July, you can join the webinar in mid-August.


  • Webinar Content & Dates: 

    This advanced session aims to push participants to the forefront of the digital era, discussing system integration, optimized message flow, and groundbreaking generative AI development. It explicitly invites those with backgrounds in SQL, Python, or Java to challenge themselves, featuring insights from a Cacafly CTO who developed popular apps and high-traffic internet services. (Example Dates: June 13 or August 14)


Step 4: Pass the Final Exam


After attending the live sessions, you must pass the final exam to complete the program.


  • Exam Structure: The final exam for the Google Cloud Course consists of 20 multiple-choice questions.

  • Exam Window: You have one week to complete the final exam after the webinar.

  • Retake Policy: You can retake the exam anytime if needed.

  • Passing Score: A score of 80% or higher is required to successfully complete the programme and download your certificate.


Step 5: Certificate Issuance


Your completion certificate will be available for download via the official LINE account by September 30th.


Navigating Language Challenges: My Experience with Taiwan Chinese Materials


While both tracks of the Google Digital Talent Exploration Programme offer immense value, it's important to address a specific nuance that some of my audience, particularly those from Hong Kong or those who primarily work with English resources, might encounter: the training materials are predominantly in Taiwan Chinese.


This presented a unique challenge for me, as I often rely on English for in-depth research and finding supplementary resources in the digital marketing and cloud space. Here's why this can be tricky:


Terminology Differences: 

While core concepts are universal, the specific terms used in Taiwan Chinese for digital marketing or cloud computing might differ slightly from the English equivalents that Hong Kongers (and other international marketers/tech pros) are accustomed to. This can lead to minor translation hurdles or difficulty in cross-referencing information when you try to look up more details in English.


Resource Discovery: 

When you want to delve deeper into a concept or find external articles, most cutting-edge content and detailed guides for complex digital marketing and cloud topics are published in English. Bridging the gap between the Chinese terminology used in the course and the English terms required for further research can sometimes be a puzzle.


Contextual Understanding: 

For those who primarily consume their professional knowledge in English, absorbing complex technical information in a different language, even one you're familiar with, can sometimes require an extra layer of cognitive effort.


My advice? Don't let this deter you! The quality of the Google training material is high. If you're encountering these linguistic differences:


Be Patient and Deliberate: 

Take your time with the Taiwan Chinese content.


Utilize Translation Tools (Carefully): 

Google Translate or other tools can help bridge immediate gaps, but always verify context.


  • Focus on Core Concepts: 

    The underlying principles remain the same, regardless of the language. Focus on understanding the why and how beyond just the literal terms.


  • Build a Cross-Language Glossary: 

    As you go through the course, consider creating a personal glossary where you map Taiwan Chinese terms to their common English equivalents. This will be invaluable for future reference and for finding English resources.


This minor linguistic hurdle is a small price to pay for the wealth of knowledge and the valuable Google certification you'll gain. It simply adds another layer to the learning experience!
